Spring time is a great time. The leaves are blooming on the trees again, the birds are flying back up north, and you are starting to shed the winter coat and heading towards hooded sweatshirts and wind breakers. But the spring often poses a problem for one type of person: the vacationer. While it’s a wonderful time to be living your life, it’s a poor time to be vacationing because you are no longer in the winter weather where you can ski and ride your snowmobiles, but it’s also a time where laying out in your bathing suit at the beach might not be your best move. Still, when it comes to the perfect spring getaway, McCall has been working on it and they think they have found a solution to your spring time vacation blues.
Bring Your Fishing Pole
One of the great things you can do year-round is fish, but there might be no better weather for it then in the spring time. It’s the best time of the year to grab your tackle box, a backpack full of food and drink and head out on the row boat to a private destination where you can sit in the calm and peace of the lake and try and catch the next great fish. If you have the means you can take it back home with you and cook it for the whole family to enjoy.
Bring Your Paddle
If you are going to be out on the water you might as well try your ability at kayaking. It’s a great activity and a great way to enjoy the challenges of the lake. You can reach hidden parts of the lake you can’t reach with a big motorboat or by walking along the edge. And if you want you can bring your pole and do a little fishing while you’re there.
